When Olympus Australia were planning a product launch of their new E-PL1 digital camera, the globally recognised photography brand called on Photophuse for assistance. In collaboration with Olympus sales and marketing personnel, the Gallery devised a fully branded competition portal, which was hosted on the OlympusImaging.com.au domain.
Photophuse’s solution included social media elements such as a message board for participants, and the second phase of the competition displayed winners’ photos in a customised gallery.
In 2010, the marketing team at Laura Ashley Australia decided to run a living room makeover competition and engaged Photophuse to help. In what has probably been the most unique use of our photo competition portal to date, competition entrants were asked to take a photograph of their living room and to provide a short text description of why their living room should be made over by Laura Ashley. Photophuse provided a fully managed photo hosting solution, as well as marketing and graphic design support for the competition.
